Are the ship prints originals?

Yes. Every print was made in its own day, by engraving, etching or lithography, for a book, a magazine or a set of plates. None is a reproduction.

What makes a ship print collectable?

Accurate rigging and detail, early date, original hand colour, a named ship or a famous action, and good condition with wide margins.
